Personal training and Pilates for women in midlife. Ealing, West London.
Live October 2026Liz Shaw taught dance for years, from three-year-olds to professionals, before moving into fitness. She now works as a Master Personal Trainer from private studios in Ealing, teaching the full Pilates repertoire on the apparatus at the Willow Studio and running strength sessions at The Everstrong Gym. Her work is aimed at women in midlife.
Her site was on Wix and word of mouth was doing most of the work. The job was search: get her in front of the women already looking for what she does, in Ealing and further afield, without turning her into someone she is not.
The search work came first. Her writing sits on four pillars: strength and longevity, training through perimenopause and menopause, Pilates, and how we move. Ten new posts went up between May and August 2026, each one written from her practice, backed by named sources, and approved by Liz before it went live.
Then the site itself. In October 2026 we rebuilt it by hand and moved it off Wix: eleven pages and all twenty-one blog posts, on exactly the addresses Google already knew, so everything the posts had earned came across with them.
Liz's brand stayed as it was: Cormorant Garamond for headings, Raleway for reading, Poppins for the small print, and her lime, grey, sage and off-white. What changed is the layout.
Her pages open on full-width photos of Liz at work, every one picked by her, and the sections alternate between photos that run to the edge of the screen and soft sage and grey bands. Prices and booking links live in one file, so a price change is one edit rather than a hunt through every page.
#B0C358Lime#656563Grey#F4F7E8Sage#F8F8F5Off-whiteMoving a site that ranks is where most rebuilds quietly lose ground. Before anything was switched, every one of her 54 old addresses was checked to land on a page, and every page's title, description and heading was compared against a snapshot of the live Wix site, so nothing Google already trusted changed by accident.
Her email came with a catch. It runs on Google Workspace, bought through Wix, on the same domain that had to move. Her mail settings were copied across and checked first, and only then was the domain pointed at the new site, so her inbox never stopped.
The new site went live on 16 October 2026. On a phone it now scores 98 for speed, up from 72 on Wix, and the homepage has gone from 1.77MB to around half a megabyte.
These numbers are from her old Wix site, between May, when our Search Console data starts, and September, before the rebuild. Google showed her pages 388 times in May and 3,418 times in September. Clicks from Google went from 35 a month to 75, and her average position moved from 17.7 to 10.9.
For "pilates Ealing" she climbed from page three in June (position 22.6) to the top of page two in October (12.6). Her writing is reaching Google’s AI answers too. In October 2026 the AI Overview for "reformer pilates perimenopause" cited her post on the best exercise for perimenopause in its very first line, and listed it among its top sources alongside a study from the US National Institutes of Health.
ChatGPT agrees. Asked in October 2026 to recommend a Pilates instructor in Ealing, it put Shaw Lifestyle first, as its pick for private Pilates.
“Three months after Kinto Creative redesigned my site and sorted the SEO, I’ve doubled my client numbers.”
I’ve had a website for years but never bothered with SEO — word of mouth did “ok”. Three months after Kinto Creative redesigned my site and sorted the SEO, I’ve doubled my client numbers, with two new enquiries this morning alone. The revenue speaks for itself, but what’s struck me most is the quality: their attention to detail means people arrive already understanding the nuances of what I offer — so they stay.
